Summary: We had a great stay at San Angel, there were a few things I think could be improved or noted, specifically the noise on the bedroom side on the highway. I wouldn't discount this place as I think it was simply a building/construction error. We live in a city, and I would say it was still quite loud in this bedroom (504) and the other bedroom was directly under the pool which was also loud (apparently - this is my friend reporting that she could hear the pool flow all night). The communication with the host was excellent, and they were very friendly and helpful, answered all questions within seconds. The pool was warm and such a delight, as well as having an outdoor space to bbq and parking was a breeze. I absolutely would stay again, but I'd make my kids sleep in the room closest to the highway because they sleep like rocks! For the price in the area, and what you get as far as comfort, I would recommend, but also, maybe new pillows also to note. Thank you to our hosts who were lovely.
