The cleaning fee includes the following: professional cleaning of the property, sheets, and shower towels for the number of guests. The total price also includes free WIFI.
The space
Great rural house located in the heart of Vilamaniscle. Characterized by its regional architecture, with its beautiful Catalan vaults, it has two floors connected with two independent entrances.
The lower entrance gives access to a cosy dining room, which stands out for its stone walls that maintain a good temperature even in summer, as well as its beautiful Catalan vaults. On the same floor they have a fully renovated bathroom, next to it a small room with a washing machine and cleaning products and, finally, a spacious room with 2 bunk beds and a large window that provides very good lighting.
When you go up the stairs to the second floor, you will find, on your left, a large kitchen as well as the first room with a double bed.
On your right-hand side, you will see a second dining room with sofas, television and a central table, a fully renovated bathroom as well as the second double room.
From the dining room there is the second access to the property.
The neighborhood
Vilamaniscle, located to the north of the Alt Empordà region, with an area of ​​5.5 km2, borders the town of Llançà to the north, Garriguella to the south and Rabós to the west. The Albera Natural Park surrounds the entire town, and in the same municipality you can still find wild examples of the Albera tortoise, currently protected, but it is also common to find a high variety of fauna such as roe deer, badgers, foxes, and boars.
Vilamaniscle is also a very good starting point for nature excursions. The St. Quirze de Colera monastery is especially popular and can be reached by car in about 20 minutes on forest tracks that are in generally good condition. Or, on foot, the walk will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes. The excursion is worthwhile due to the cultural-historical importance of the monastery, but also due to the beautiful and impressive scenery along the way.
After the first 500 meters of the path, you can also visit the menhir (Pedra Dreta), about 20 meters to the right of the forest path. Other excursions to the Albera mountains can also start in Vilamaniscle. If you don't want to spend too much energy, visit the St. Gil church (16th-18th century) built very close to the town.
Although it may seem like an isolated town, it has the beaches of Llançà 15 minutes away by car, or Port de la Selva 20 minutes away. In these towns you will find the best beaches in the area, the ones we recommend the most are: Cala Bramant, Port Beach, Playa la Farella, Playa de Grifeu and Cap de Vol.
If you prefer swimming in a pool, Vilamaniscle is one of the few surrounding towns that has a municipal pool, and with an affordable entry price (you will find an image of the prices).
Other places that make Alt Empordà known are Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, one of the main wetlands in Catalonia, together with the Ebro and Llobregat deltas. This park can be known through the 8 itineraries that it has where you can see up to 329 species of birds that have been counted.
On the other hand, another of the best-known natural parks is the Cap de Creus Natural Park. This protected natural area, 50 minutes away by car, is the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula. We recommend doing one of its various walking tours and discovering the beautiful natural landscapes that this geographical phenomenon can offer.
In addition, next to the Cap de Creus lighthouse, there is a restaurant where you can savor the cuisine of the area, and in high season, you can only access it by car if you have a reservation.
Vilamaniscle has a cooperative, although small, it is of very good quality, but they are also producers of honey. In fact, in early 2022, it won the London International Honey Quality Competition award.

Cancellation and collection policy
When making your reservation, you will be charged €3 to check the card and to cover the management costs in case of cancellation. If it is not canceled, these €3 will become part of the total payment of the reservation. If you cancel before 14 days for your registration, you will only be charged the €3 administration costs.
14 days before your registration, you will be charged 50% of the value of the reservation, which will not be refunded (of this first payment) if you cancel between days 14 and 7 before your registration.
7 days before your registration, the remaining 50% of the total value of the reservation will be charged. If you cancel in the period between 7 days and the same day of registration, the total value of the reservation will not be refunded.
