This Bay view home is centrally located, with easy access to highways, to SF (via the ferry if you like), to Berkeley, Oakland, Marin, the wine country & to the coast. Walking distance to charming Pt. Richmond's restaurants, bars, shopping, and great hiking trails.
The space
This mid-century home, remodeled in 2018, features exposed wood beams, high ceilings, and wood floors throughout, creating a light and airy atmosphere. The living area has an open floor plan that combines the kitchen, dining, and living room into one spacious area. This space flows out to a large deck with stunning bay views.
The home offers two spacious bedrooms located off a long hallway. Each bedroom has ample closet space, hangers, dressers, new designer mattresses, charming peek-a-boo bay views, and excellent feng shui. The first bedroom includes a small attached bathroom with a shower and heated floors. The bathroom features tall ceilings and a skylight, providing a sunlit shower experience. The second bedroom has a bathroom just outside the door, featuring heated floors, a double sink, and a small soaking tub.
Furnishings throughout the home are vintage mid-century, including a custom down couch, creating a simple, clean, and homey experience. Contemporary art adorns the walls, adding a modern touch.
The use of a brand-new LG washer and dryer are available for use and are located in the garage on the bottom level, accessible via stairs from the main floor.
Things to Note:
There are 5 steps leading up to the front door, and there is no railing. This may be tricky for those with limited mobility (my 80-year-old mother with balance issues navigates them with caution).
An in-law suite is also available to rent below the upstairs deck. While the two spaces are quite private and independent, if both are occupied simultaneously, we ask that guests in the upstairs unit be mindful of those below by keeping TV or music at a moderate volume and walking softly on the deck, preferably without hard shoes.
The entire house, including the studio which has a kitchenette and full bathroom, can accommodate up to 6 people. If interested, please LMK, the cost per night would be $125 and would include an additional cleaning fee TBD.
