This well appointed mountain property has 5 bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms and can accommodate 12 guests comfortably. The large great room with wood burning fireplace, amply spaced dining room and well stocked kitchen makes this home an ideal accommodation choice for families, a group of close friends, ladies weekend or even a couples romantic getaway.
You’ll feel right at home the moment you step inside the home’s beautiful interior with high ceilings, stone surround wood burning fireplace and warm wood touches. The home has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, including wireless internet access and flat screen TVs with cable. This home has also been recently updated with smart home features, such as google home, smart thermostats, and new linens provided for each bedroom. Additionally, there is a screened in porch and large deck on both the main and lower levels overlooking the natural surroundings and the beautiful Shamokin Springs that run through the property! The lower deck has wonderful swings and fun slide for the kiddos.
Kitchen, dining room, living room, 1/2 bath and one of three master bedrooms are located on the main level. The bedroom has a king bed, wood burning fireplace and private bathroom with a jetted soaking tub. The laundry room is also on this level. The lower level provides a large great room with fireplace, TV, bathroom and 2 bedrooms - one has 4 twin beds and the 2nd has a full bed. Perfect area for children!! On the upper level, there are 2 more master bedrooms, each with a Queen bed and private bathroom.
The house is in walking distance to the Appalachian and Shamokin Springs Trails and a short drive to restaurants, the Chestnut Springs Pool (seasonal), skiing, snowboarding, tubing, shopping, the Wintergarden Spa, trout fishing, mountain biking, rock pools, river rafting, and much more!
Off the mountain, enjoy the many local breweries, wineries and restaurants - Devils Backbone, Wild Wolf Brewery, Bold Rock, and Veritas Vinyard to name a few. There is also a grocery store, ABC Store, Dollar General and pharmacy just off the mountain.
