Positive: • Everything is nearby. • Dubai Mall is not far away. • Several small shops are within walking distance, including Carrefour. • The amenities and the king-size bed are very comfortable. • Balcony. • Swimming pool. • Security and reception are helpful and friendly, providing information and assistance when needed.
Negative: • The door is faulty and extremely difficult to open and close. • A wardrobe that doesn’t close properly. • All cleaning and laundry must be done personally, unless you hire a cleaner who leaves a note on the door offering to handle everything for a fee, including washing, ironing, etc. • The balcony was covered in dust and sand, despite my checking in just 1-2 hours after the cleaning company had supposedly finished. • Dust and lint in the ventilation/air conditioning unit suggest it hasn’t been used or cleaned in months. • Only two rolls of single-ply toilet paper provided for a two-week stay. • Since I checked in, there has been trash, bags, tissues, and bedding left outside the door, and they were still there when I checked out. • Customer service assured me on the first day that these issues would be quickly addressed, but by the time I checked out, no one had come to fix the problems, including the door. • The price is too high for this level of cleanliness and quality.
