Located on Scenic Bay on Lake Pend Oreille, this extraordinary home sleeps up to 14, and is fitted with 2 bedrooms, a loft sleeping area, and 2 full bathrooms, making it perfect for a multi-family trip or a corporate or church outing. It's conveniently-located 5 mins from Farragut State Park and 15 mins from Silverwood Theme Park, making it an ideal location. A one-mile no-wake zone, from the nearby boat launch, means less boat noise and provides for a tranquil setting for all kinds of activities, like swimming, lounging on the deck, reading, playing games, or enjoying a meal, hot off the grill, under the covered gazebo. Or, you could spend your day boating, fishing, water skiing, hiking, picnicking, and enjoying all the area amenities, then, relax in the hot tub under the stars.
The entire home is available for your use and features a step-free entry ramp, with wheelchair-accessible entry to the front entrance and back deck. On the main level, there are two bedrooms and a full bath, which features a roomy tub/shower with grab bars by the shower and toilet, a hair dryer, and first aid and sewing kits. The property sleeps up to eight people on the main level and up to six more in the sleeping loft, which has its own convenient full bath (shower only). The home also has a large clothes washer and dryer, (on the main level), dishwasher, trash compactor, and full-size refrigerator with ice maker.
The kitchen offers many pantry items, including lots of spices, and sugars and sweeteners, flour, drip coffee, as well as a selection of single-serve coffee pods, tea, napkins, and disposable plates, cups, & silverware. There is also many glasses and cups, pots and pans, lots of cutlery, a crock pot, food processor, several plastic food storage containers, quart and gallon-size zip-lock plastic bags, foil, wax paper, and plastic wrap, etc.
Additional thoughtful amenities provided include: 2 portable floor fans, flashlights, batteries, a folding table and chairs, 2 good-sized coolers, beach/camping chairs, plenty of beach towels, and five comfy bathrobes.
And for you boating enthusiasts, there is an area to tie-up your boat, conveniently located on the side of the house. (Please Note: There is a fee for storing a boat trailer, charged by the marina.) The property also has 2 complimentary kayaks and a row boat, for you to enjoy. An 'easy-on-the-feet' swim ladder system allows for comfortable access into and out of the lake for swimming and floating. A variety of life vests are available, as well as noodles, floaties, etc for use while you're in the lake.
Bayview is a quaint little town with 4 year-round restaurants, as well as a seasonal 'floating' restaurant! It also has a mercantile store, within a short walking distance, for those last minute items. Bayview is located only 10 minutes from Athol. Athol offers 2 grocery stores, a hardware store, 2 gas stations, an urgent care, restaurants and much more.
