Summary: Aloha! We were kindly greeted by Esteban at the front desk. We booked a room with a mountain view and it did not disappoint. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was not a fridge in the room but the front desk will store them in the restaurant refrigerator if you would like. Though it was remotely located the place offered everything we needed including amazing food at the restaurant. We had breakfast daily, lunch and 2 dinner on 2 occasions. Our compliments to the chefs Patricia and Merlin. Jason and Alejandro provided excellent service. The hotel was within walking distance for ticket and transportation to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. The hotel offers a shuttle to town every hour, until 1:30 pm, for $2 USD each. The last shuttle from town to the hotel is at 2 pm. The hotel can call a taxi, if needed, for $12 USD one way. In town you can find a taxi in front of the church. We highly recommend Trapp Family Hotel in Monteverde. Pura Vida! Mahalo! L and L Travels with Aloha
