Feel at home in Odessa, Florida. Coconut Creek Lodge is a trendy, adult-only inn with historic ties to Peter A. Demens, the founder of St. Petersburg, Florida. Our lodge was originally built in 1975 by a USF professor and his wife. The large multiple acre property feels as if you are in Hawaii with its peaceful assortment of palms and flowering plants overlooking a horse farm in the distance, and with all its wildlife and old Cyprus trees is listed on the National Register as EPA protected wetland. Stroll through our two-story contemporary mid century modern and find evidence of our past in the exposed wood and shaded verandas. Relax by the brick fire pit and watch shooting stars fly by over head with zero light pollution. The perfect get away from the city, but with a 30 minute or less drive to Tampa Bay beaches.
**This listing has been created with the intention of sharing my home to guests while I am doing a semester as a veterinary medical student online due to Covid. The price has been lowered with the understanding that myself and my pets will be in the home. I am quiet and happy to keep to myself or socialize if my busy school and work schedule allow.
All guest bedrooms and private bathroom for your party are located on the second floor with your own private entrance. Guests will have priority of the spaces in the home that are shared. I do sometimes offer a home cooked meal to guests or breakfast or tea and coffee in the morning when my time allows. I am happy to answer any questions so please feel free to reach out.
