The property is bookended by two state WDNR fishing areas (Trout Creek Fishery Area). Trout Creek Fishery Area is the first named Fishery Area in Southwest Wisconsin and has class 1 brown and brook trout fishing. The property is also nearby to numerous other class 1 fishing areas.
