This unique, contemporary, island escape offers four bedrooms and six bathrooms with over 3,500 sq. ft. of living space. The corner lot is comprised of the main house with 2 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms plus an attached historic duplex; each unit is one bedroom, bathroom, and living room/kitchen. This property includes an Old Town rarity: Four (4) compact off-street parking spaces (3 SUV sized).
The main house’s neutral palette is juxtaposed with pops of color, pattern and texture with expansive modern glass doors for an indoor/outdoor feel even in the summer with the AC on. Upon arrival, the custom mahogany door welcomes you inside to the living room featuring 16’ cathedral ceilings with exposed beams, wet bar with granite countertops and a beverage refrigerator. A secondary sitting area, perfect for that morning cup of coffee or a good book connects to the dining area, together seamlessly flowing to the outdoor space which is complete with a heated dipping pool, water feature and shower. A first floor bedroom has a comfy queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with white marble finishes and a steam shower. This bedroom suite conveniently opens to the dipping pool and outdoor lounging area. The chef’s kitchen features a granite island, custom lighting, plenty of cabinetry and a sub-zero and Thermador appliance suite. The kitchen door opens to a small, covered grilling porch.
The upper-level main bedroom suite features a wall of sliding glass doors opening to a large, covered patio. The suite has cathedral ceilings, king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a frameless shower and dual showerheads. Across the patio, there is an additional large spa-like full bathroom with a soaking tub. It is an ideal dressing area with a day bed to lounge upon while facial masks rejuvenate, nails dry or while reading a Hemingway novel which was penned just a few blocks down Whitehead Street. This room also has a separate staircase and can function as a bedroom with one twin trundle bed.

Both have hardwood floors, high ceilings, kitchens, a washer/dryer, and finished lofts. Their beautiful porches with dining tables are surrounded by tropical landscaping One of the suites has an ADA ramp and step in bath tub.
The hidden lane is one short block from Duval Street dining, shopping, galleries, attractions, and more. It is close to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park Beach and Truman Waterfront Park.
