A panic button is provided within the house that alerts guards stationed close by to the property. Should our guests require this service a guard will attend the property. Additionally, 4 OUTDOOR (only) cameras also provide additional security for the property. The cameras are clearly visible and are recording 24/7 to a hard drive that is continuously overwritten. The cameras overlook the following areas: front garden, front gate, back door and the pool area.
A gardener lives in a servants quarters on the property but is very discreet and will not encroach on the privacy of guests.

Electricity / Power Outages:
Power outages in Zimbabwe are common. Although Uthando Oasis provides a 5kw solar powered battery backup this is not an unlimited resource and will get depleted without periods of sun or heavy electricity use. A generator is also available for use at the guest expense.
