Summary: It is a lovely little hotel in the old part of the city. Next to the river. The young man who checked us in (and out) was really helpful and lovely! Our room was number 33. It’s a good size and very nicely decorated. The bedding and bathroom were super clean which is great. Comfortable bed and pillows. There were a lot of cobwebs in the room (which I didn’t like!) the tv only had two channels that were working and the kettle didn’t turn itself off but apart from that, it was great! Breakfast was very good. A choice of hot food alongside breads and pastries. The waitresses weren’t great with allergens (allergic to cheese). We ordered one ham omelette and one ham and cheese omelette and I got the one with cheese (she said it was without cheese). I always double check so didn’t eat it until I’d inspected both! I would definitely stay here again-all the negatives I’ve mentioned were really minor so would recommend this place.
