This historic duplex recently underwent a complete renovation. Everything is new, but we were able to preserve many historic details.
There is an open floor plan showcasing the kitchen, dining, and living rooms, with a kitchen island, and door leading onto a back deck and private yard. The first bedroom has a king bed and large closet. The second bedroom has two twin beds, a dresser, and a large closet. There is also a queen air mattress and linens available to use in the living room that is stored in the twin bedroom closet.
You will have your private entrance to your apartment with shared access to the backyard and parking, to be shared with the other Airbnb guests in the unit above.

Located in the Tower Grove East neighborhood, this building is in one of the most desirable and walkable areas in St. Louis. It is only a few blocks from Tower Grove Park and one mile from the famed Missouri Botanical Gardens. Dozens of restaurants, shops, and cafes along S Grand Ave are only steps away! While the apartment is very close to S Grand, it is far enough away that you will have plenty of peace and quiet inside the home. This area is culturally rich with history and newly rejuvenated, positive energy. Take a stroll along the tree lined residential streets and you will encounter all the friendly faces, parks, and beautiful buildings that make this neighborhood such a treasure!
The apartment is a few hundred feet from the South Grand Ave bus line and close to the Grand Metrolink stop (2 miles away). You will only have to take one bus to get to the Grand Metrolink station. From there, you can get to Downtown (only 5 miles away), the airport, and all the museums and attractions of Forest Park or the Central West End.
There is a plethora of attractions within walking distance. No need for a car, but if you have one, there is one reserved off-street parking pad space available for free at the back of the home.
We are only minutes away from many of St. Louis' major attractions including the St. Louis Zoo (10 minutes), Fabulous Fox theater (10 minutes), City Museum (15 Minutes), and Busch Stadium (15 minutes).
Most of our apartments are in historic multi-unit buildings. In order to ensure all of our guests have a peaceful stay, we have set quiet hours between 10:00pm-8:00am. We ask that all guests keep excessive noise to a minimum during these hours as noise can travel between the units.
Noise/party policy: Due to a handful of guests throwing parties and/or being excessively loud, we've had to enact a strict no-party/excessive noise policy that may include a fine. If parties are held or guests are excessively noisy, there may be a fine of up to $500 charged to the offending party. While we hate to be such sticklers and want to be as welcoming as possible, we have found this rule has greatly helped deter parties/excessive noise, and ensures everyone's quiet enjoyment of the space.
Additional guests may incur a fee of $25/guest.
A $500 fine may be charged for any guest who smokes or vapes any substance in the apartment.
