This expansive beach is known for its strong Atlantic waves, making it a prime location for high-quality surfing, and the town is also celebrated for its diverse selection of seafood and fresh fish dining options. The municipal tourist tax must be paid at the beginning of the stay, in a single installment by means of a mandatory invoice-receipt issued in the name of the party-leader, with reference to the non-taxable VAT.
