Summary: Our family of 9 adults spent 15 days at this marvelous villa in the La Palmeraie neighborhood of Marrakech. Realizing I could not impose western cultural lifestyles, amenities, comforts, and convenience upon a Moroccan way of life, the villa far exceeded our needs for cleanliness, tidiness, and accessibility. It afforded us everything we could need or want during our stay. I determined we needed everything that could be made available during the stay. Our host, Emmanuel arranged ground transportation, private sightseeing tours, on-site groundskeeper/security, daily housekeeping, and a fantastic and serene cook staff that was accommodating, respectful, and traditional. Emmanuel was terrific to work with - and *very* responsive to inquiries- and highly adaptable to our needs and ongoing changing requests. The villa is beautiful and traditional, with Moroccan furnishings with some French influence. It is a colorful hidden jewel in the neighborhood, and the entire property became more peaceful and beautiful daily. The architecture includes marbled floors, elaborate lighting fixtures including chandeliers and sconces, large solid carved wooden doors with large ornate windows, some with beveled stained-glass inlays. The grand entrance is breathtaking, with a sweeping staircase to the main suite and another en-suite bedroom. There are balcony’s indoors as well as outdoors. There’s a beautiful outdoor pool that is accessible from the main floor. The groundskeeper, Bader, cared for every detail and request made of him during our stay. Bader went out of his way to keep everything in working order, including all wi-fi access points. Our Arabic-English speaking driver/s were phenomenal. Both provided excellent commentary and recommendations for places to go, do and see. Abdel or Omer was WhatsApp away from anywhere we wanted to go, do or see. Mejsda prepped our daily breakfasts, lite, and traditional tangine/couscous meals. Naima provided daily housekeeping and clean linen services and assisted with meal prep and meal service. The house staff was undeniably incredible and exceeded their goal to ensure we lacked nothing short of making our stay enjoyable. Unable to speak or understand English and guests unable to speak or understand Arabic created an environment of laughter and complete trust that never faltered. Google verbal translation became our very best friend. Thank You, Emmanuel!!! Until we *chat* again..... Hamdullah!
