Positive: Our stay at Villa Bhuvana was pleasant. The location by the sea was lovely and conveniently close to nearby attractions. The resort itself is beautiful and spacious. Our host, David, was welcoming and even recommended his local restaurant where he also cooks. We had dinner there the night before our departure and asked him to arrange a horse taxi for us the next morning, which he assured us he would. Unfortunately, the horse taxi didn’t arrive as promised. I tried calling and messaging David multiple times but received no response. Eventually, I reached out to the hotel next door, Kuno Resort, whose staff were incredibly helpful. They also attempted to contact David but had no success. Thankfully, they managed to arrange a horse taxi for us, which was a great relief as we were close to missing our ferry. David later messaged to apologize, explaining that he had been unwell, had overslept, and was unable to meet us at the resort. While I understand that unexpected things can happen, the lack of communication was disappointing and impacted the overall experience.
