Villa Carlotta is located in a beautiful hillside position, less than three kilometres from the centre of Pescia, one of the most enchanting towns in the area, on the border between the flourishing Valdinievole and the unmistakable hills of the province of Lucca, an obligatory stop for every traveller searching for artistic masterpieces and food and wine excellences. This recently-built villa in exposed stone has been transformed from a simple farm annex into an elegant country residence, thanks to the use of authentic materials of the local artisan tradition, to which all comforts, such as the indoor swimming pool and sauna, have been added to guarantee guests a fully relaxing stay. Indoors you are welcomed by an elegant living area with comfortable sofas and an adjacent kitchen with an island made from an old chestnut tree trunk, skilfully combining modern and rustic. All the bedrooms are air conditioned and furnished simply but elegantly to offer you unique moments. Outside the view is magnificent, from the garden and the panoramic swimming pool you can enjoy the wonderful view of the green valley covered in woods. The panoramic view then extends over the towns of the Svizzera Pesciatina, such as the borgo of Sorana, renowned for the production of IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta = Protected Geographical Indication) beans and its August festival. We are in an area that brings together the best of the excellences that distinguish the renowned province of Pistoia, where you are spoiled for choice. Among the wonders that can be easily reached and discovered from this privileged location, are the well-known towns of the area, such as Massa and Cozzile, Montecatini Alto and Montecarlo di Lucca. Finally, not to be missed, a visit to the extraordinary spa resorts in the immediate vicinity, Montecatini Terme and Monsummano Terme with its thermal caves where you can immerse yourself in the healthy regenerating waters that will guarantee your well-being. No less important is the proximity to the A11 motorway exit of Chiesina Uzzanese, from where you can reach nearby places such as Lucca, Pisa, Forte dei Marmi and Florence, as well as all the other renowned tourist destinations in Tuscany. The proximity to the town of Collodi, famous for the puppet Pinocchio, will allow the kids to spend a day full of fun and entertainment in the theme park, going around and reliving the tale of Pinocchio (www.pinocchio.it).
Interior:
The property has two floors, with the possibility of accessing the ground floor from different points. The main entrance, located in front of the parking area, leads to the living area, consisting of an elegant sitting room with fireplace and TV corner adjacent to the bright spacious kitchen which contains the dining area. Also on the ground floor is a large elegant bathroom with shower and the indoor swimming pool (heated except during the months of July and August) with hydromassage stations and adjacent sauna. From the sitting room, a stone staircase leads up to the sleeping area on the first floor composed of four bedrooms and two bathrooms. All the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.
Park:
In the area in front of the portico with the external living and dining area of the villa, is a well-kept lawn with the beautiful outdoor swimming pool and the entrance to the indoor swimming pool and sauna. The park is embellished with typical Tuscan trees such as chestnuts, cypresses, olives and various medicinal plants, all surrounded by hedges and multicoloured flowers that frame the splendid swimming pool where guests can relax in peace. Right after the entrance gate is a parking area in the garden available to guests, just 10 metres from the main entrance of the villa. N.B. Please note that photo shoots are usually carried out in spring, therefore the colours and blooms of the gardens, lawns and parks may be different when you enter the villa.

Swimming Pool:
Set like a pearl, between the garden and the villa, is the splendid rectangular swimming pool with travertine solarium equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. Here guests will be able to spend unforgettable moments, enjoying the particularity of the place and the scents that only Tuscany can offer. The pool, measuring 7,5 x 12 m with a constant depth of 1.45 m, is lined in granite-coloured PVC and has internal lighting, salt purification and Roman steps on one side for access to the water and hot and cold outdoor shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Adjacent to the solarium is the entrance to the indoor swimming pool: rectangular and measuring 4,50 x 3.50 m with a constant depth of 1.30, it is lined in granite-coloured PVC and has salt purification, internal lighting, Roman steps and hydromassage stations. The pool is heated, except during the months of July and August, and is open all year round.
