Positive: Size of property was good and it was very clean. Position was fine - sufficiently back from the road to avoid traffic and neighbours were generally quiet and unobtrusive.
Negative: The basic 'package' was potentially good but fell short of being excellent due to non-attention to quality and details viz: Garden lawns should be mowed for guests - they were rough and weedy. Broken items should be replaced at once - second sun umbrella stand had been broken so second unit could not be used. The advert said we had the entire house but one bedroom had been locked and we were not given the full choice of available accommodation. We were unable to use the advertised clothes washing machine as it was discovered in the garage blocked by what appeared to be the owner's unused household items piled up in front. Too many features seemed to be 'poor buys' from Vide Greniers - odd assortment of cutlery, not enough mugs and cups, the table extensions were badly joined pieces of wood fixed to the end of the main table so the numbers could be accommodated. Soft seating inside the house in the 'lounge area' could only take 3 on a sofa, 2 on a convertible bed unit and a single chair - not as such a 'lounge unit'. There was only one toilet for the entire first floor which would potentially house at least 10 to 12 people. This house needs a revamp to better accommodate this function. No bedroom was 'en-suite' on the first floor. Generally for a price in excess of £2000 for a single week this was not good value for money
