The locality of Sant'Elmo is located 56 KM from Cagliari, 5 KM from Costa Rei and 14 KM from Villasimius. It can be reached by plane from Elmas airport in Cagliari. The 13 kilometers of the coast of Castiadas are one of the most beautiful stretches of Sardinia, a succession of scenarios of white sand and dazzling colors, perfect places, not only for the summer but also for breaks in spring and autumn, thanks to the beautiful sunny days and terse. Going up the coast starting from the border with Villasimius and the marine area of Capo Carbonara, you come across a jewel of absolute value, Cala Pira, a corner of paradise protected by a promontory on which the homonymous tower is perched: soft dunes are surrounded by granite and scented by secular junipers and Mediterranean scrub. Further north is another pearl, Cala Sinzias with two kilometers of soft and very white sand, a clear seabed and waters with various shades of blue. Behind a thick vegetation: mastic trees, pines and eucalyptus trees. For lovers of road trips, the bay is ideal with areas equipped for campers and campsites behind the beach. Then there are the beaches of Cannisoni and San Pietro (or cala Marina), wide and beautiful with its golden reflections. Beyond that begins Costa Rei, ten kilometers of beaches of fine golden sand that slope down towards a sea the color of the sky. In order, you will meet the beaches of Monte Turno, Sant'Elmo and Santa Giusta, up to the 'scoglio di Peppino', the border between the territories of Castiadas and Muravera.
