Positive: Undeniably this is a beautiful and unique property. The pool was lovely, surrounded by natural beauty. Stunning views. The villa is an unusual layout but has tons of space to spread out and enjoy. Potential for a multi-family stay without crowding each other.
Negative: We had arranged to arrive after midnight and provided our flight details in advance. Claudia even shared the contact information of a friend we could hire for airport pickup. We stayed in touch throughout the day, and she sent photos of the pool prepared for our arrival. However, upon landing in Cagliari near midnight, her friend canceled our ride, so we took a taxi instead. During the ride, I tried contacting Claudia, but she didn’t respond. When we arrived at the villa—on a dark, isolated road with no streetlights—we discovered that she had provided everything except the key box code. We were stranded outside with all our bags, feeling helpless, until one of us managed to find a way to enter. It honestly felt as though we had broken in. Things only got worse. Our Booking.com reservation was unexpectedly canceled, and we were forced to arrange a new payment directly with Claudia, who offered only a minimal discount for the trouble. The process was confusing, stressful, and dragged on for several days, hanging over our entire stay. At one point, we even felt pressured to complete the payment with haste. To make matters worse, Claudia forgot our checkout date and sent instructions only after we had already left Cagliari. The area itself is stunning, but given the stress, confusion, and poor communication, the property simply wasn’t worth the cost or the hassle.
Summary: Overall a pretty property but would not stay there again if visiting Cagliari.
