Summary: I don’t write many reviews but I’ve spent the past year mostly living out of beachfront Airbnbs and 5 star hotels and Villa Francesco stands out as my favorite of all our stops. The location is great - there's plenty nearby and everything's walkable but you're also slightly removed from peak craziness of summertime Positano. Carmela is one of those rare people who just exemplifies hospitality like few do - her and the team were proactive and took phenomenal care of us, helping paper over my mediocre planning and making sure the trip was exceptional and not just really good :) We stayed in the Punta Reginella suite and can’t wait to return. We visited ~6 weeks ago and while I've stayed at several great properties since, I keep finding myself remembering how every little detail was perfect at Villa Francesco where others miss the mark...small touches like a small view window from the shower that allows you to look out at the sea below make it so you enjoy literally every moment there.
