Summary: Pros: The hosts are so wonderful and friendly and made us feel very welcome! The house is big and open planned. The swimming pool is clean and big. Great to have a petanque area outdoors - this area sees the shade the earliest, as located on a lower level to the house, the middle level hosts the pool and the upper level is the house level with a huge(!) balcony overlooking the pool with lake views. There is a massive umbrella to seek the shade for lunchtimes on the balcony. The house is located a short walk to the lake, a very short drive to an abundance of other areas to enter the lake. Bauduen is a very short drive with restaurants, a beach, quant town and public toilets! We also headed to the gorge on our kayak and paddleboard, there are plenty of places to go sit by the lake with our dog - who also came on our boats to see the gorge and explore the lake! We also boated out to an island in the lake which was amazing. We found hiking trails, cycle routes, and a great pizza restaurants!
