LOCATION
We are just far enough away from the crowds, located over the border into the quieter Herzegovina region of BOSNIA. (New faster border channels were completed in December 2019).
Villa Tamara is just a 7 minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Srebreno and Milini and the fabulous jewel of the Adriatic, the city of Dubrovnik. The historic city dates back to the 7th Century with its prominent surrounding walls being a highlight for visitors. The walls have been a popular filming location for the fictional city of “King’s Landing” in the television series, “Game of Thrones”.
Our local, 13th century, walled town of Trebinje is a historic delight to explore. The piazzas and cafe bars nestled under the great “Platani” trees are a great place to people watch and enjoy a coffee or ice cream.
There is a newly opened Water Park and in the evening “Vukoje” winery, with a rooftop terrace and restaurant offers diners great views over the town and river Trebisnjica. The town has something for everyone.
Further afield in Bosnia, Mostar and Kravice waterfalls are a fun day out or why not travel further afield to the Fjords of Kotor in Montenegro.

THE SPACE
Villa Tamara, a part of the small family resort, is nestled on top of the hills overlooking the Bay of Dubrovacka, and just 10 km away from Dubrovnik's old city. If you seek a private pool (7.5m x 4m) & a Jet pool and a stylish comfortable ambience, to enable you to spend some quality time with friends and family, this is the place for you!
Beautiful mountain and sea views can be enjoyed from every angle and in every room of this villa. Relax on a sun bed, cool off in the pool, dine Alfresco under the pagoda or have a well earned cocktail, whilst in the Jet pool, at the end of a hard day!
There is also a visitors cloakroom and for your convenience an outside WC and shower.
The open plan lounge which opens onto the pool and terrace is fully air-conditioned, has comfortable seating with a separate TV area with a sofa bed, coffee table, internet access and satellite TV and beautifully incorporates the fully fitted kitchen into family life.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and most importantly a wine fridge to cater for all your dining requirements and modern day living. Stylish crockery is there for you to entertain guests or simply have a family BBQ. Separate laundry facilities are also available.
Villa Tamara sleeps up to 6 guests with 2 Master bedrooms en suite, one Twin room with adjacent bathroom. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and are air-conditioned and with a view of the sea. The sofa bed downstairs with its own adjacent bathroom and an additional pull-out single bed (upon request) sleep 2 extra guests.
To work off all those extra calories make use of the new, air-conditioned Gym or just take the heat in the sauna!
Whether you wish to visit the historical sites offered in this beautiful, unspoilt area along the Dalmatian coast, or relax on the natural beaches just 4 km away or make the most of the sporting activities on offer, we couldn't be more centrally located. Just a 20 minute drive from Dubrovnik's International airport, you can be sat by the pool with views no other villa can offer you!
Pool/Jet pool heating is included in the cooler months but in July and August it can be offered at £15 per day. Please note the pool will not be filled from the end of November until the beginning of April, as it is not possible to heat in the winter months unless requested.
Villa Tamara is part of an ongoing building development, light work may be undertaken on properties in the vicinity.
GUEST ACCESS
The manager will be there to meet and greet you. However, for the late arrivals, a key safe is available, with code and contact numbers given after booking.
We have also designed a brochure that is updated annually, tantalizing you with ideas of places to visit, complete with maps and directions! Places that are a bit off the beaten track and that the regular tourist won’t know about. We have ideas and tips for excursions, beaches and restaurants and sporting activities that have been recommended by the owner or previous guests. Ideal pool-side reading!
The owner will not be on the premises whilst guests are staying but there will be a property manager to meet and greet you and answer any enquiries.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
All linen is included.
Bedding and towels changed on request or after a 1 week stay.
Bathroom and pool towels are provided but NOT beach towels.
Price includes service/cleaning charge. Plus we offer a complimentary 2 hour mini housekeeping service once per week, servicing the kitchen, lounge and bathrooms.
On request we can provide a full single pull out bed, large baby travel cot, high chair and baby car seat.
We can also offer a babysitting service, if staff is available. There is a small additional cost charged.

We do not have any public transport and so are not suitable for non drivers.
