A spacious well equipped house nestled on the edge of a characterful village. Away from the hustle and bustle, but with two pubs and a well-stocked village shop close by. This house gives you everything you need to relax and unwind with family and friends. Or, get out and enjoy the delights of the river Wye and the iconic Wye Valley Walk. The city of Hereford is a 10 min drive for those seeking more urban and cultural pleasures.
The space
The house is very spacious with a large, well stocked, kitchen breakfast room with double doors opening onto the raised patio overlooking the garden and the valley beyond.
There is a large sitting / dining room with a feature fireplace and wood burning stove - ideal to for the Autumn / Winter evenings in. This room also has double doors opening onto the patio
The patio has an outside fireplace, a BBQ, a dining area and sitting area - wonderful for outside eating on a sunny morning or a cocktail watching the sunset in the evening.
There is a downstairs cloakroom.
Upstairs there are four large bedrooms - the Master with King sized bed and en-suite is double aspect. There is a snuggle sofa by the bedroom window
The second bedroom, also en-suite with king sized bed also has fantastic views over the fields towards the river a couple of fields away, as does the third (twin room)
The fourth bedroom with double bed has views across the valley.
The large family bathroom has a shower over the bath.
There is a mezzanine sitting area with TV / games console and a further study area for anyone wanting a quiet space to catch up on a emails
The house is well stocked with books, videos and games to wile away the time on a wet day
Please note there is a fully self-contained, two bedroom annex, with its own entrance, attached to the house.
The annex is also accessible from the house via an internal door.
This is available to book, for an extra fee, as part of the main house, or as a joined but self-contained annex. Or on its own as for a smaller group
The annex can accommodate upto four extra guests, in two double beds. It has its own fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower.
The annex IS NOT LET to a separate group if the main house has been booked
