Positive: The size and space was amazing - great well equipped kitchen and dining areas, spacious bedrooms and a great large balcony. We really enjoyed it. Loved the sea view in the morning. Bedrooms had loads of hanging and drawer space. The area is peaceful and slept well with no noise from late bars and clubs. The bathrooms were clean and spacious and the showers worked well. Master bedroom has a bath / jacuzzi but we did not use it. The attic is huge and great for lots of kids or teens. My young niece visited and loved the play area and all the old toys in there. The rooftop balcony is huge with great views of both the sea and the mountains. Aircon was good in the main living areas. Excellent location with the beach very close and Lidl and Mercadona supermarkets a short walk up the road. Apartment is on third floor for the best views and there is a lift and entryphone.
Negative: The keys need to be collected from the Villa Service office which is not accessible by road, and the apartment is about 5-10 mins walk from there so factor that in when arriving with luggage. The keys were difficult to use with the locks. Thought I had wrong apartment or keys but eventually worked and a local assisted! There were no instructions at the apartment so it took some time to work things out and a few snags but Villa Service were very responsive and sorted things out quickly. The beds were unmade but we found lots of clean sheets in the hallway cupboards eventually. There is no shower gel, soap or other basics provided other than a tiny welcome pack including one toilet roll (none in bathrooms) so be prepared to get a shop in before or shortly after arrival! Lounge furniture was not very comfortable and needs updating (old leather sofa with an ill fitting cover and a comfy but weird recliner chair that seemed to have a lot of cat damage!). Pictures were poorly hung, peeling, and one fell of the wall! The bedrooms need lamps as only choice is bright lights on or off. Apartment is quality and has everything you need, but a little outdated and just needs a bit of a refresh really to be great.
