Summary: So here’s the thing, if this place marketed itself as a bed and breakfast, it would be five stars across the board. Despite the gorgeous rooms and setting of the hotel, it falls short of what you’d expect a hotel to offer. The lack of a bar was interesting, or even a stocked mini bar in the rooms, and meant we brought in our own supplies from the local supermarket. The website also dials up the breakfast offering, and despite being lovely, I wouldn’t go as far as saying “freshness of seasonal ingredients blends with traditional and international flavours to start your day in the best way.” It was a pretty basic buffet with scrambled or hard-boiled eggs being the only warm items. I really think investment in a lunch and dinner service would be wise too! The top line is, go if you’d just like a bed for the night and will be exploring the island all day and night, because it’s hard to spend a whole day here!
