Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is splendid. You can relax on the deck watch the sunrise over the Pithrody river, and by the time it's evening, walk a mere 20m across the other side of the property to reach the Kapu beach. Its desolate nature almost makes it a private beach. The rows of stacked boulders make a great seat to watch the waves, whatever time of the day. As for the riverside, the water is either extremely polluted or moderately clean, depending on the flow and the time. The birds, fishes and insects are a sweet treat to observe. This property is listed under the name 'Kaustabh beach villa' hence, you're probably unable to find it on Google. The place looks rundown, but if you're someone that is adjusting and carefree, on a budget, looking for a good time, this would fit well. The room is adequate for two guests, more than that would be stuffy. There's a fan, and a cooler. Some shelves, one bench. The bathroom is honestly not as great as the pictures make it look. The place is The jacuzzi is a bathtub with a water pipe of high force, but worth the money. No food prepared on the premises, you've to order from around. The caretakers are helpful and efficient, just perceived as slow. If you've got transport with you, multiple tourist attractions are easily accessible from this stay.

Negative: There was no one to receive when we came for check in. We waited for a while, then just decided to walk around ourselves. Room floor was sandy and sticky even after cleaning by their staff. Bugs and Roaches in the room, bound to enter in that location. They did provide agarbathi, but not that's only to keep away mosquitos The cooler not being topped up with water Bad quality and quantity of door mats(very thin), used once and it's wet for the next 3 days. Leaking faucets and showers. The whole apparatus was wobbly. No towels in room to freshen up Jacuzzi floor always has sand accumulated, even after asking the staff to clean it. No clean place to wash legs after coming from beach, hence you're forced to go to your room,easing to samd everyone . We didn't receive a refund from the food place which was given to us by Vistara caretaker. Switches and lights not working Slightly foul smelling room, had to keep lighting incense. curtains bedside and jacuzzi sided don't cover fully end to end of the windows, especially in the evenings when the lights inside are obv transparent. exposing privacy
