Under new management- This wonderful lakefront home is deceivingly spacious and offers a waterfront dock with plenty of room for the whole family! Lakeside yard space and a fun swing-surround firepit - the whole crew will love it here! Boasting 6 bedrooms a large chefs kitchen opens to a dining room (table has leaf to enlarge) and a living area - all opening to the outdoor open deck with grill and outdoor furniture. A large separate den with a wetbar and opens to a sunroom with deck access. The upper level houses the primary suite with a lakeview and a private balcony. The lower level of this beautiful home has 3 additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, a bunk room w/ adjoining kids den, a living area with additional bar-style seating and a casino themed den for added fun!
NOTE:All drivers of a motorized watercraft must have a Virginia Boater Safety License
All fishing will require a Virginia Fishing License

Summary: First, the positive: - the house has a lot of room, plenty for a large group.- the poker and blackjack tables are fun, if that’s your thing- great location on the lakeNow, the negative:- Check-in was a little bumpy, from the perspective that I did not receive check in information on the day of check in. I had to request this info through the app multiple times before I received the info, which was 15 minutes prior to check in time. While I received it prior to check in time, it was slightly stressful. My other experiences with VRBO have been much smoother, with check-in info arriving well before check in.- The house is poorly maintained and cared for. There are stains on many walls, weathered furniture, broken glasses in the cabinets, missing lids on the outside trash can, old outside furniture that needs to be thrown away laying on the ground between the house and the water, etc. The house simply looks beat up, inside and out. - There was a significant lack of cleanliness. There were beer can tabs and pieces of gift wrapping paper on the living room floor when we arrived. MULTIPLE kitchen cabinets had mice droppings in the cabinets, including those with silverware and cooking utensils/pots & pans. The cleaning process for the house is clearly lacking.I don't like leaving a negative review, however I would want future guests to understand what may be waiting for them, and hopefully this review will spark action by the owners to put more effort into the property.
