There is no end to the range of activities available from this great location, from the city's wide choice of restaurants, majestic Canterbury Cathedral, the Marlowe Theatre, a diverse shopping experience and the historic atmosphere the beautiful buildings generate. Boating and fishing on the Great Stour River which runs through the centre of Canterbury, cycle paths and walking within the city walls and gardens is a must. There are many quintessential Kent villages surrounding Canterbury, perfect for a wander and afternoon tea, visiting vineyards, or lunch in an old 16th Century pub.
