We invite you to enjoy our chalet style cabin in the popular Blue Hills recreational area. Located at the confluence of the Soft Maple and Devil’s Creek, you’re able to hike from the cabin using our private path to where it joins the Ice Age Trail. Recent exciting news is that the 1200 mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail in Wisconsin is now officially part of the National Parks Service! Another exciting happening is that we now have fiber optic high speed internet! Great news for guests needing to get a little work done from “home!” We welcome dogs and have been told they love playing in our spacious yard and even the creek! Deer and turkeys are usual sightings from the large cabin windows and of course the squirrels and birds never cease to entertain! Feel free to explore our 40 acres of wood land which is surrounded by thousands of acres of public forest. If you are interested in hunting please inquire further. The Blue Hills are especially known for their scenic ATV/UTV trails. You can leave directly from the cabin and there’s ample trailer parking in the yard. Snowmobile trails are available for hours of riding too. Several lakes are within minutes for fishing, boating, and kayaking enthusiasts. Christie Mountain Snow Area is just a couple minutes down the road. It offers great family skiing/tubing and beautiful views of “the hills.” Cross country ski trails are close and double for hiking and mountain biking use in the summer. Pickle ball courts are available for public use in nearby Weyerhaeuser. Our cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, a family weekend, a hunting trip, or a girls get together…the possibilities are endless! We know you’ll enjoy our cabin as much as we do! Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. Elizabeth is a wonderful host, she was very easy to communicate with. The house had everything we needed. Beds are very comfy. The trail to the ice age trail was easy to find did a nice hike. The bridge by the creek was very relaxing to sit and relax. We saw a pilated woodpecker, some deer and birds. We will be coming back again. Thanks again Elizabeth
