This 200-year-old former cart shed, one of a dozen holiday barn conversions, blends traditional beams, stone walls and rustic charm with contemporary style. Furnished and equipped to the highest standard, the design exploits the original features - cathedral ceilings with exposed oak beams and sandstone walls; the double bedroom built around one of the four stone arches. There is a garden to the front, patio and parking to the side and view of mature woods from behind. Surrounded by open countryside and on an organic coastal farm, this property lies in a hamlet at the end of a private no-through road, 550 yards from the main road. Beadnell and Low Newton-by-the-Sea (less than 2 miles) offer shopping and pubs serving excellent food. Nearby Seahouses has further facilities and harbour with trips to the Farne Islands.
