Positive: The cabin itself was fine. Location was close enough to downtown, but if you're hitting the slopes might want to be slightly closer to them.
Negative: The real issue was Meredith Lodging. Easily one of the most frustrating rental companies I’ve ever dealt with. First, just trying to check in felt like a scavenger hunt. I had to call and email, and text multiple times—only to get conflicting information from different people. One minute I was told to check in at an office, the next I was supposedly good to go straight to the house. Let’s not forget the rental agreement they lost and I had to email over again, because why make things simple. Once we finally got inside, there were zero instructions for things like the TV or fireplace. Because nothing says “relaxing getaway” like spending 20 minutes trying to guess how to turn things on. Bottom line: the cabin was fine, but Meredith Lodging was a logistical nightmare. If you enjoy excessive emails, contradictory texts, and unnecessary frustration, go for it. Otherwise, maybe book with literally anyone else. Oh, and there was no can opener.
