The cottage is located in the beautiful nature of the idyllic area of Alrum with plenty of space and freedom, birdsong and a rich animal life. Despite the location, it is not far to the popular town of Søndervig, where there is something going on all summer. Here you will find interesting stores, bike rental, a small adventure pool, bowling alley, cafes, restaurants and much more. From Søndervig you can directly reach the North Sea, which is worth experiencing in any weather and season. Also a small store in Stadil is not far away. Nearby is also the nature area Vest Stadil Fjord with bike paths, bird hide and bird tower. Especially in spring and autumn you can see enormous flocks of geese, ducks and other migratory birds. Here you stay by Ringkøbing Fjord, where surfers meet many like-minded people from many countries, and where beginners as well as professionals enjoy the low water, the wind and the freedom on the sea. In the area you can also fish well in the many fishing lakes. You can also visit Hvide Sande, an old fishing village with a lively harbor, or go to Thorsminde, also a fishing village. Thorsminde is smaller than Hvide Sande, but just as cozy and especially located on the land bridge between the North Sea and the Nissun Fjord.
