A newly designed and refurbished studio apartment. It is fully equipped. It includes an entrance space with tiled floor and a space for coats, a nice kitchen corner, an
open space with sofa, sofa table etc. (wooden floor), an up-built double bed with closets underneath, and a relatively large bathroom with a shower and a washing-machine. It is 35square meters with private entrance.
The apartment is very bright, i.e. next to the entrance is a window above the bed and at the other end of the apartment is a large glass door (2.5 meters) with an entrance to a veranda and a garden. The glass door faces south with a beautiful view over the bay – at the other side of the bay is Bessastaðir the President’s Residency . The veranda is very nice in the summer. The apartment is located very close to the University of Iceland and only 15 minutes walk to the city centre (3 minutes by bus – the bus stop is only few meters away). It is located on the South-West side of Reykjavik city centre. There is 25 minutes walk from the fly-bus station.
There are food stores nearby open 24 hours – there is a swimming pool and a gym in a walking distance. The cycling and walking path around the city is next to the apartment on the coastline.
The apartment is almost on the corner of street Starhagi and Suðurgata. It is attached to a yellow two floors house. The apartment is in front of you when you walk to the house.
We have baby crib and high chair for your children.
