L'appartamento giallo è su due livelli ed è composto da soggiorno con angolo cottura e piccolo bagno a piano terra e due stanze da letto (una matrimoniale e una con un letto singolo e quattro letti su struttura a castello) e bagno con doccia al primo piano.
Quattro anni fa abbiamo comprato questo antico complesso abitativo risalente al Settecento, nel centro storico del paese di Tenno, e l'abbiamo completamente ristrutturato, cercando di conservarne il fascino e le particolarità costruttive. Abbiamo utilizzato il più possibile materiali naturali (legno, pietra, colori a base di calce) e salvato e riutilizzato tutto ciò che era possibile: vecchi mobili, assi, travi, oggetti.
Molti mobili, le scale interne di due appartamenti, i letti a castello, alcuni pavimenti e un soppalco sono stati costruiti direttamente dal proprietario.
Abbiamo realizzato due appartamenti per tre/quattro persone e due per sei persone. Ne stiamo ultimando altri due.
A piano terra abbiamo ricavato una grande sala con divanetti, tavoli e sedie e un'antica stufa di maiolica. E' a disposizione dei nostri ospiti per attività collettive; spesso la utilizziamo per fare quattro chiacchiere con loro, bere insieme un bicchiere di vino e degustare i prodotti biologici dell'azienda agricola. Mettiamo a disposizione dei bambini lavagna, gessetti, carta e pennarelli.
La casa è anche una grande biblioteca: abbiamo disseminato negli appartamenti e nelle zone comuni circa un migliaio di libri, anch'essi a disposizione degli ospiti.
Abbiamo inoltre realizzato un angolo bar con bollitore e tisane su un terrazzo coperto, arredato con divano e tavolini, per rilassarsi ammirando il panorama.
Nelle vicinanze della casa c'è un piccolo orto, utilizzabile liberamente e un prato con sdraio e barbecue.
In prossimità ci sono due parchi-giochi pubblici attrezzati.
Il parcheggio comunale gratuito si trova a circa 50 m dalla casa.
Il Tennese si trova a pochi minuti da Riva del Garda e da Arco, ma offre anche altre numerose attrazioni naturali e storico-artistiche.
E' la zona ideale per gli amanti della mountain bike e per i climbers e offre anche molte possibilità di escursioni: c'è il bellissimo lago di Tenno, raggiungibile anche a piedi attraverso strade di campagna, c'è il Monte Calino con il rifugio S. Pietro che mostra panorami mozzafiato, c'è il sito archeologico di S. Martino, c'è il borgo medioevale di Canale, con la Casa degli artisti e il borgo di Tenno con la chiesa romanica di S. Lorenzo e il castello; nelle vicinanze ci sono le suggestive cascate del Varone e molto altro.
A pochi km, in auto, si può raggiungere il lago di Ledro, anch'esso balneabile e con i resti delle palafitte (c'è anche un piccolo museo con la ricostruzione delle capanne).
Il paesaggio è caratterizzato dalla presenza di terrazzamenti coltivati a viti e olivi, dai caratteristici muri a secco. Il clima è mite tutto l'anno ed è bello visitare la zona in ogni periodo, partecipando anche alle varie attività agricole, come la vendemmia a settembre e la raccolta delle olive a ottobre. Prima di Natale ci sono i suggestivi mercatini negli avvolti di Canale e in agosto la rievocazione di Rustico Medioevo, festa in costume con spettacoli per grandi e piccini.
