Apartment with two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, terrace and beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. It is ideal for couples and families with children. The streets surrounding the building are pedestrianised. It is located on the seafront next to supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The centre of Torrenueva is undoubtedly the beautiful beach and the seafront promenade. In summer the seafront promenade is very lively for holidaymakers with vendors of all kinds of objects who set up stalls on the promenade itself. BEACHES: Torrenueva Costa beach is the main urban beach in the municipality. It is recognised with the Q certificate for Tourist Quality. This award recognises the quality of its waters, environmental education, safety and cleanliness of its facilities. It also has among its distinctions, the blue flag together with the Cardioprotected, Environmental and Accessible Beach distinctions, as it has amphibious chairs and infrastructure for people with reduced mobility. La Joya beach is a beach in a natural cove that is located less than a kilometre from the urban area of the municipality. In 2020, a path was started towards the same beach and it runs along the cliffs with a fantastic suspension bridge in the heart of Jolúcar rock. Maruja García beach is a dark sand beach, with hardly any influx, on the outskirts of the municipality. And finally, the beaches of Cañón and Pelá, which are located to the west of the town centre, between the Puntalón riverbed and the Acapulco residential area. Both are very busy in summer as there are numerous parking spaces in their surroundings. You can walk along the entire coastline from our apartment to the Sacratif lighthouse, first along the promenade and then along a fantastic path that runs along the cliff and has a suspension bridge. Its name comes from an 18th-century defensive watchtower, which is located on the southern side of the N-340 National Highway (Málaga-Almería) that crosses the town just 50 metres from our apartment.
