Inland, Pumlumon is the highest peak in the Cambrian Mountains, start your ascent from the Nant-y-Moch Reservoir (14 miles). Alternatively, join the Glyndŵr's Way National Trail from the vibrant market town of Machynlleth, home to quirky shops, MOMA Wales, which showcases inspiring Welsh art and crafts and the oldest street market in Britain.
