Modern, beautiful cottage at the Sørbølfjell gateway to Hallingdal.
The house is nicely furnished and has numerous windows that let in plenty of daylight. Enjoy a hearty breakfast here and the beautiful view of the surroundings. The house has room for many guests and is equipped with all amenities. From the open property you have a wonderful view of the mountain landscape and the cottage has a covered terrace, which allows you to enjoy your morning coffee outside in almost any weather Outside the cottage there are great hiking opportunities - in summer and winter.
Just put on your hiking boots and look forward to beautiful hikes, mountain walks and fishing trips. In winter, Sørbølfjell offers fantastic skiing opportunities, so all you can do here is strap on your skis and go on beautiful tours. For excursions, it is recommended to visit the beautiful bear park in Flå, where you can get close to bears, lynxes and wolves. In the park there is also a playground and an obstacle course.
A perfect vacation destination for the whole family ? look forward to activities for all tastes.

Summary: This house is rented through Novasol. Novasol customer support has no telephone number and is only available from 9.00-17.30 through online chat. Prior to our arrival they couldn't provide us with basic information, such as the sizes of the beds (handy to know since we had to bring our own). They absolutely did not pass our question on to the real owners of the accomodation. Also there was no phone number provided of the actual owners. Luckily we had no issues prior to our arrival, but if you would need to contact the owner in any way prior, this is not possible. Frankly, I would rather not rent through Novasol again just because of their (lack of) customer service. If we would have had an issue, there would have been no one to help us. What also is not explained before arrival, is that every time you enter the park, you have to pay 100NOK. We received coordinates for the accommodation, but numbering on the park is not consistent and we had to circle around multiple times to find the house. The park is very new and the roads on the park not yet recognised by navigation services. When we arrived there were instructions by the owners (including a phone number), a bottle of wine and chocolate waiting for us. It was a warm welcome in a stunning house with even better views. The house had everything we could possibly need. Kitchen wasn't the cleanest, lots of crumbs everywhere. There are several hiking paths you can take, just use ut.no House amazing, Novasol absolutely not.
