The cabin is surrounded by a spacious garden with both a lawn and flowers. There is also a terrace and a fire pit. The terrain around the cabin is open, but the property is enclosed by a mix of forest and hiking trails.
In the area, you can go for walks on gravel roads, trails, or explore freely as you wish. It is possible to walk long distances without encountering houses or roads โ all the way to Toten and Hadeland.
