Positive: Casa Arrigo is owned by the Neri family who own the Villa Neri Spa hotel close by. It is situated on the slopes of Mt Etna adjacent to a vineyard. There are 2 parts, the original as you see on the website and a great new contemporary addition with good views of Mt Etna. The contemporary (superior?) double room we had is lovely, with a modern 4 poster bed, a walk in shower and even a sauna which you can book to use. Wonderful view of Etna. Linguaglossa, the town close by, has several good restaurants to choose from. Staff helpful.

Negative: We had booked 2 rooms at Casa Arrigo, due to overbooking one room ended up at Villa Neri. Large, contemporary looking, comfortable but less charm.

Summary: It is very nicely situated, convenient for a visit to Taormina. You are in the country so it is quiet.
