Positive: Our stay at Casa da Bruma was absolutely magical. Alexandra Seara, the host, is not only warm and welcoming but also a truly talented artist. Her home is filled with her stunning ceramic and porcelain creations, each piece carrying Azorean soul and inspiration. She also has a charming shop attached to the apartment with is without question, the best shop in town, where you can find her handcrafted works along with unique, thoughtful gifts as well as beautiful wines. I wish I purchased more gifts while we were there. Thankfully she is making me a custom piece that she is shipping to me in Canada ;) From the moment we arrived, we felt so cared for. Alexandra had prepared a wonderful gift basket to welcome us, and the apartment itself was spacious, spotless, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Furnas, across from the famous Terra Nostra Gardens, with a fantastic market just a few doors down for fresh produce and essentials. Yet, once inside, it feels like a garden oasis, private and serene, with beautiful greenery backing onto the property. Casa da Bruma is the perfect blend of comfort, creativity, and authenticity. Staying here made our time in Furnas truly unforgettable. We can’t recommend it enough!
