Positive: This property has an INCREDIBLE terrace on the top floor overlooking the lake. We ate all our meals here, it was lovely. The air conditioning was functioning well and a godsend in the summer heat. Both bedrooms have an amazing view of the lake, and there is ample storage for suitcases and clothes. There is also a lovely living area and indoor dining table on the top floor with a smart TV, perfect for watching Casino Royale before a boat day out on the lake. Just a few minutes walk down the road there are restaurants, an espresso bar, and a very reasonably priced local supermarket with fresh produce, and a deli.
Negative: We were disappointed that the floors were really dusty when we arrived. Definitely needed sweeping and mopping. I was so uncomfortable that I tried doing it myself but only a ripoff swiffer mop was provided - no broom or proper mop. The kitchen is equipped with a Lavazza coffee machine, pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, but crucially lacks a sharp cooking knife which severely limits what you can make. Oil, vinegar, sea salt, dishwasher tablets, cleaning cloths, kitchen paper and a washing up sponge are essentials that would have been much appreciated. The flat has an impressive jacuzzi in the main bathroom but we couldn't really figure out the proper way to drain it so instructions there would have been helpful. The beds are nothing to shout about but could've done with more pillows and proper blankets.
Summary: Amazing location and features but lacking essentials and could've been cleaner.
