Summary: We had an excellent time at the chalet. The chalet is located about a 70 minute drive from Lausanne, in the canton on Valais. There are spectacular views down the mountain. It is also a 7 minute drive from the Ovronnaz ski resort. The chalet has two medium size bedrooms, a large living room and kitchen, and a large finished attic. We we six adults and 2 infants, and we were all very comfortable. The chalet is modern and renovated, with heat in each room. The kitchen is also new and modern, with everything we needed. We cooked several large meals, including dinner for Christmas and New Year's Eve. There is also a large porch and outdoor area, with spectacular views of the mountains. Alain was also very helpful and responsive. When the heat went out in one of the bedrooms, I texted him and he responded immediately with how to fix it. While we were there for Christmas, the chalet would also be great for the summer or spring. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of snow (although there was plenty at the ski resort). So, we took several long hikes around the area. It was extremely nice and pleasant. I totally recommend the chalet. Thank you, Alain, for an amazing 2 weeks!!
