Calm and authentic, the Casa Tegolaio offers comfort, peace and serenity.
The house is situated on the very top of a hill, within a short driving distance to the centre of Trestina where one can shop, eat and drink.
The 9 acres of land comes with 2 houses and a15 meter salt water pool. The main house is authentic, cosy and calm. The second house has been recently renovated. Both houses are fully equipped, fully functional, spacious and well maintained.
A pergola which gives onto a stunning view of Montone has a table for wining and dining outside. The gardens expand over the 9 acres of the property, the pool (salt water) is in a separate part of the garden which allows the house area to stay peaceful. The numerous trees offer a variety of fruit and shade. The car port has space for 2 cars.
Casa Tegolaio is ideal for 2 families with children and/or teens with the possibility of offering independent sleeping and eating areas.
-The Main House-
On the 1st floor, 2 generously sized bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. 1 room has a double bed (180x200) and the second has 2 twin beds (180x90). Both bedrooms have AC and mosquito nets on the windows. The bathroom has a bath and shower head, sink, toilet and bidet.
On the ground floor, the serene living space equipped with a desk, books and a tv and dining area with a table that can be made bigger or smaller according to the number of people allows plenty of room. A fully functional and equipped kitchen is found just off the dining space.
The basement has a laundry room which has limited or no access
-The 2nd House-
The 2nd house has been recently renovated. There are 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with 2 twin beds) that give onto a spacious terrace. Both bedrooms have AC. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, large sink and toilet. The very luminous living space and open fully equipped and functional kitchen are perfect for eating and relaxing inside.
-The Outside-
The property has 9 acers of land on top of a hill with no vis a vis and a private salt swimming pool of 15x7. The pool is fully equipped with loungers and parasols. The pool is open from mid-June to mid-September.
The property also has a pergola with lights for outdoor meals and drinks and a belvedere for morning breakfast with a view.
Under the second house a storage room houses an extra table for outside and a weber barbecue.
A typical pizza oven and wood is available for use.
-Location-
Town centre Trestina is just a 5-minute car ride to supermarkets, restaurants and boutiques. There is a train station that can take you to different towns. Trestina has 2 big supermarkets, doctors, vets, banks, cafés and restaurants. Day trips include Florence, Assisi, Gubbio, Sienna, where one can visit and eat typical Italian meals. For wine lovers, the main wine routes are within reasonable distance. The region is also very attractive to cyclists who can leave directly from down the hill and cycle through Umbria and Tuscany.
We ask that guests be carful with water consumption. The house is not on the mains so water can get low during the summer season. We are able to fill up our tanks but a responsible consumption is appreciated.depending on water.
