Summary: FYI - this is a Vacasa property. Google that and see how property owners and vacationers describe their experiences.The property itself was as pictured, at face value. However upon closer inspection, the kitchen drawers and cabinets had mouse droppings. The oven and range top released a lot of smoke when used, despite appearing to be free of grease and oil. A few of the kitchen essentials were covered in grime or looked like items that even Goodwilll would discard, if donated.Although I am a pet owner who take daily allergy pills, this property made my allergies intense. My mouth was swollen and my nose completely stuffed. Despite using the heater, the lower rooms with slightly more comfortable beds was cold. I helped myself to a blanket in the closet, but it was dirty with dog fur from past tenants.The condition of the queen mattress is way beyond the "if it's over 8, it's time to replace." One side of the mattress is sunk in, with the springs having given it there all over the past decades. The bunk bed smells heavily of pet urine. The last remaining bed is a bit like sleeping on a box spring.Pet owners beware - during the winter there isn't much space for your dogs to do their business. The land has a steep downward slope in all directions just outside the property and driveway. Hopefully your dog is willing to go on either the dirt driveway or the dirt road.As is true with most VRBO properties, you'll end up paying more in fees than you do on the daily room fee.
