Do you need a home away from home. If you're looking for some R&R, or if you're a professional traveling for work, or just need that in-between space while you re-locate, if you're buying a home, exploring a new neighborhood, or simply working away from your home, this is the perfect spot for you - a cozy stay nestled in the heart of Los Angeles City. Perfect Location; easy access to Hollywood, Downtown LA, Occidental College, Griffith Park Observatory, Rose Bowl, Malls (Americana and Glendale Galleria), Dodger Stadium! We do offer monthly stays, please ask us about availability.
Stairs at driveway lead up to the Apartment.
Our First Floor Apt w/Private Ent. Sitting above street level, the space offers added privacy. The apartment is roomy and airy. There is a brand new ensuite washer/dryer. Italian tile in the small bathroom with large Sink. It has a Shower unit, NO Bathtub.
Living room has large windows offering great light and plenty of room for you to stretch out. Kitchen is a studio space (no Oven) with a brand new tall fridge for your groceries. Pantry cabinet for storage, stainless steel cabinets and an extra breakfast bar seating space with microwave, toaster and small coffee maker. great meal. A Pottery Barn glass-top table offers seating for 4.
Open Concept gives airy Modern feel w/French doors leading to a newly furnished Pottery Barn cozy bedroom with a FULL-SIZED bed, closet, full sized mirror, and dresser.
We have an eclectic style which we hope you'll enjoy. We're also movie lovers, so there's plenty of movie magazines and scripts laying around.
SLEEPING:
A cozy bedroom with FULL-SIZE bed leads directly off the living room; with privacy curtains and small flatscreen TV. There's a cozy FULL-SIZE sofa bed in living room.
PLEASE NOTE: A small AC/Heat vent is located in living room and a small window AC in bedroom. Temps in apartment are usually on the cooler side but on extremely hot days AC keeps temps at average to cool. If you like very cold or freezing, this space may not be suitable for you and your family.
A starter kit of toilet paper, napkins, kitchen paper towel roll, pods for laundry and dishwashing liquid will be provided.
You have access to small patio area just outside the apartment.
PLEASE NOTE: For monthly reservations guest is responsible for their own expendables such as tissues, napkins, bathroom paper. We do not provide water bottles. .

The space is nestled in the neighborhoods of Glassell Park and Eagle Rock. A comfortable and convenient location, our apartment is perfect if you want to be close to Hollywood, Downtown LA, Silverlake, Glendale, Burbank Studios or Pasadena in mins.
Our diverse, family-friendly neighborhood offers quality eateries, pizzeria, hand-made burger cafes, bars, eclectic boutiques, an Arts center, bowling, swimming, and hiking
Our schedules keep us busy, but you might see us come and go, or run into us at the driveway. We love to chat; hear about your experience in our neighborhood, but we also want you to have your privacy!

One side of the street parking. No other restrictions, however make yourself aware of LA City parking rules during your visit.
Again, location, location, location! We're right off THREE major freeways -- the 5 Freeway (Sacramento fwy) which also brings you directly from Burbank Airport (20mins) & the 2 Glendale Freeway; both cross at our exit, Verdugo Road/Occidental College. And the 134 Ventura Freeway taking you to the East towards San Bernardino, or West towards West Los Angeles. Exit to the 2 Glendale Freeway to access our neighborhood.
Our neighborhood is diverse and eclectic; young families, artists, small business entrepreneurs.... plenty of cultural food for the soul!
We are minutes from all the fun, Universal Studios, Rose Bowl, Downtown Staples Center, LA Zoo, Greek Theater, Silverlake Reservoir, Hollywood's Chinese Mann Theater, & Dodger Stadium!
It's a 5min walk to our local recreation center; swimming pool, play area, track, and gym. Just a mile away, Glendale offers the famous "Americana" mall and Glendale Galleria Mall for The Cheesecake Factory, amazing Mexican cuisine, Sushi, Dai Tin Fung (Dumpling House), Barnes &Noble, Urban Outfitters and more.
Again, Glassell Park/Eagle Rock boasts small cafes, an array of delicious, eclectic restaurants, bars and high-end eateries as Penny Oven, Lemon Poppy Kitchen, Candy Flower, Cafe Beaujolais, Four Cafe, Poke Bowl and more.
For fine dining, Parkway Grill and Arroyo Chop House are 15 mins away in Pasadena, or Blair's just a few mins away. We are 5 mins from the famous Cuban bakery "Porto's". They offer the tastiest sandwiches and bakery items... all well priced.
We are 15 mins from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and Silverlake Reservoir, Griffith Park Observatory, Hiking, The Greek Theatre, Barnsdall Art Center at Hollywood and Vermont, LA Downtown, Staples Center.
Glassell Park Rec Center and Pool is right next door to us. Dropping off your child to Occidental College? Occidental is just a few mins drive from the apartment, or a 30mins walk off Eagle Rock Blvd...
There are buses that run into Downtown LA, Glendale, Pasadena, and Hollywood. Or you can rent a car from Enterprise, 5 mins from us. They also pick you up if you need.

In addition to our space being a place to relax or work, it's a perfect romantic getaway. The Griffith Park Observatory for it's views, Mullholland Drive for nostalgia and the Beaches for fun and entertainment.
Over the years we have hosted families dropping their college-bound kids to school in nearby Occidental College, or families visiting for the Rose Bowl parade and the big game at the Rose Bowl just mins from the apartment. we suggest you uber due to traffic closures on the day.
