Positive: Great location for a couple of nights and well appointed lodge with lovely views. A great start to our Costa Rica trip. Lots of birds all around including your veranda and the lodge was really quiet. We did a nature tour for three hours with a great guide and learnt a lot. Few mammals seen but lots of birds which is the highlight of this area even you are not a twitcher (we aren’t). Food was good and staff friendly

Negative: Nothing specifically. Our only grumble is the transfer to Sierpe - it was the most expensive transfer we did per distance / duration by a mile and the vehicle was the lodges, pretty basic and with no a/c so it felt expensive and not good value (relative to other transfers). The driver was also in a rush and impatient at times - he was the worst driver we experienced all holiday. We highly recommend Eagle Transfers - much friendlier drivers, often they are guides, and far better vehicles (they could not service this route sadly)

Summary: Lovely location for a couple of nights of peace and quiet and stunning surroundings
