Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The owner met us at the airport (for a fee, which is applied to most visitors to accommodation) and was kind enough to stop in Avarua for us to do an errand. The bungalow was peaceful, secure, with a private garden surrounding. Although we did not need it the owner provided snorkelling gear.
Negative: Had to fix the kitchen tap which was very loose in its mountings. We were charged a NZD50 bond for the key which was to be refundable at the end of the stay. We arranged to leave the key inside on our departure. Despite one request the bond has not been refunded, two weeks after requesting it be repaid. We would have scored Dominic's more highly had this not been the case.
