For horse lovers there are many equestrian routes through forest and dunes all over Texel. There are a number of riding stables in the immediate vicinity. The villages of De Koog (cozy terraces) and Den Burg (the shopping heart of Texel, with a very trendy Streetfood Bar) are only a few kilometers from the Kiekendief.
