Tambo was gazetted in 1863, making Tambo 160 years old, and Oakwood House stands proud with unique significance to Tambo's vibrant history.
With modern additions and renovated with modern conveniences, Oakwood house is set up for guests to appreciate original historical features of a century old home, while enjoying modern comforts.
We have truly put our whole hearts into transforming this charming old home into a short term accommodation destination for the benefit of those seeking not just a room, but a home away from home when visiting Tambo.
